    THE MIRACLE IS IN THE HOUSE:

         

    Children's Sunday School Teachers:
    Children's Sunday School Assistants:

    Both 1st & 2nd and 3rd & 4th use the Life Way materials.  We have a CD that has Music along with stories & other sounds.  We have a teachers book which has crafts, games, songs and weekly Bible lesson. There is a lesson booklet for each student. 

        Class starts at 9:15 till 10:30.  


         

    Children's Church Helpers:  

    We need people to help the Shelton's in extended session.  The children sing, have Bible teachings, games, crafts and life applications.  The children get a chance to help and participate.

       They average about 18 - 20 weekly.


         

    Friday-Saturday night Youth Event Organizers and helpers:  

    We are in need of parents and/or church members to assist in events to keep our youth active and fellowship together for Friday and Saturday fun times. Please contact James Holbrook or Carla Quesenberry if you can volunteer to help.


         

    AWANA Leaders/Listeners:  

    AWANA is a huge outreach of our church to the local community. Many kids come to AWANA who don't normally attend church. We always need listeners and helpers in this area. Contact Traci and Chris Evans our AWANA Commanders for more information.


         
    Prayer Lights:

    Be willing and able to spend time in prayer for the members of our church and the people of Yuma. Pray that God will be able to Use us in Divine Appointments with those around us

         
    Prayer Chain Pray-ers:

    Be on a list of people who are called to pray for peoples needs

         

    Prayer Walker:

    Pray as you walk or drive or peddle through or around a neighborhood.


         

    Prayer Warrior:

    Pray for a particular group of people many times a week.


         

    Bible Study Leader:

    Start a new study group and pray for a new ministry for your group or church to participate in.


         

    Card Maker or Sender:

    Make cards and/or buy cards to be sent to people to encourage them or remember a event in their lives.


         

    Choir Member:

    Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.


         

    Chronicler:

    Put together an article for the association paper on church happenings.


         

    Cook:

    Contribute to potlucks, after surgery care, and after memorial services dinner for families.


         

    Fund Raiser:

    Help mission groups go where the Lord wants them to go.


         

    Greeter:

    Greet people as they come on campus at the beginning of Sunday School, Church Service or event, or at the door when people enter the sanctuary.


         

    Paint Scraper:

    Help refurbish rooms and exterior.


         

    Painter:

    Help refurbish rooms and exterior; if you have an artistic bent, do a mural.


         

    Paper Folder:

    Make decorations for event or make napkins decorative.


         

    Pew Captain:

    Make sure pews have no litter on or beneath them and hymn books and envelopes are neat before and after services.


         

    Phone Caller:

    Remind others of coming events of your group or our church.  


         

    Photographer:

    for fellowships, class events. Church events pictures might be used in the Church directory, or by the media crew to make a flyer, or presentation to show the congregation what happened. 


         

    Scrapbooker:

    to put together bulletin boards for using photographer pictures or pages for class or groups scrapbook. 


         

    Social Planner:

    Plan a social for the group or church, picnic, birthday party, a fellowship meal 


         

    Usher:

    Help people find seats or assist in taking the offering. 


         

    Writer:

    Journal about the Divine Appointments you have witnessed, or maybe shared with someone. Write an interview article for Portraits or the MBC Newsletter. 


         

    Be a team leader:

    Organize group project.  


         

    Be a team helper:

    Contribute to an existing or new team.


         

    PR Person:

    All groups need someone to encourage others with information.
