Ken began his ministry at Morningside as Worship & Small Groups Pastor on March 1, 2009, and has served in full time vocational ministry since 1981.
Ken surrendered to God’s calling to vocational ministry in 1978, while attending California State University in Fresno as a music education student. In addition to his studies at Fresno State, he joined the staff of People’s Church of Fresno as a Ministerial Intern, and served in that capacity until 1981. Ken has served churches in California, New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona.
September 2009, Ken and his wife, Lori will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, and come to Morningside from the First Baptist Church of Hempstead, Texas with their children, Rebecca, Anna, & Allie.
Ken is currently working on a degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
His life verse is Ezra 7:10 which also describes his passion: to be a student of God’s Word, applying it to his life, and teaching God’s principles to others.
